Our Story
Lost Creek Electric, LLC was established in 2024 through the consolidation of two predecessor entities — MG Utilities, LLC (est. 2023) and CCL Power, LLC (est. 2022). Our leadership and field team brings over 50 combined years of experience in outside plant fiber construction, powerline construction, FTTH/FTTP deployment, and underground utility work across Illinois and the broader Midwest.
Based in Greenup, Illinois, Lost Creek Electric works with utility companies, municipalities, and private infrastructure companies to deliver reliable power solutions — from routine maintenance to large-scale storm restoration across the nation.

Our team brings over 50 combined years of hands-on experience in the utility and electrical industry. We specialize in outside plant fiber construction, powerline construction, FTTH/FTTP deployment, and underground utility work throughout Illinois and the Midwest.
Powerline Construction
Our crews build and maintain overhead utility line systems, working with utilities, municipalities, and private organizations on pole installation, conductor stringing, and hardware upgrades.
Fiber & Telecom
With over 500,000 feet of fiber installed across the Midwest, our team handles outside plant fiber and copper splicing, FTTH/FTTP deployment, and full telecom installation.
Storm Restoration
When disasters strike, Lost Creek Electric answers the call. Our emergency crews travel nationwide to restore power after major weather events, working around the clock until communities are back online.

Union Affiliation
Lost Creek Electric is proud to be affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). Our home local is IBEW Local 702, and we have worked in multiple locals across multiple states.
